My Different Streams of Income: 6 Ways To Make Money Online - Rebelle Nutrition
Online courses are the BEST way to work smarter, not harder!
I know a lot of people are out of a job right now or could just use a bit of extra cash. I get it. Just a couple of years ago my husband was working retail and I was working as a server so we would have been in that same boat right now with everything that’s going on. And though I never could have guessed what the future would hold, I’m now more grateful than ever that we found navigated our way around the internet to find different streams of income that today bring us in a reliable income each month. I wanted to share these different strategies today for anyone who could use extra income ideas outside of the traditional 9-5 salary box. The 6 strategies below are all things I currently use to make money online -- and many of them you can make passive income with. From online courses and Youtube Adsense to Amazon Affiliate links and more, you’ll see there are tons of ways to make legit money on the internet and create a lifestyle that supports you!
Affiliate Links
Think about a product you absolutely love. You’ve probably shared it with people, right? Here’s the thing: you can actually get paid to share about things that you already use and love (and people are probably asking you about already!) Amazon associates is a great way to share your favorite everyday finds from Amazon. (Like these glass straws that I am OBSESSED with! I swear they help me drink more water.)
Or have you heard of LiketoKnowIt or Thrive Market? There’s the possibility of creating an affiliate account with those, too! The key is finding a type of business or brand that carries the types of things you’re already sharing about anyways. You might as well make some money from your word-of-mouth advertising, right? Which brings me to my next income stream:
Youtube Ad Revenue
As you grow your audience online, there are multiple ways to make money via as revenue. Take Youtube for example: while there are some requirements before you can start monetizing your videos through Google Adsense, (about 1000 subscribers and 400 hours of watch time on your channels). Once you get there, putting up videos can not only serve the purpose of connecting with your audience and growing organically by reaching more people, but you can earn extra money through ad revenue on the videos you put out. Over time, this really adds up, and you can still make money from videos you put out years ago if they are still raking in views!
One-On-One Coaching
Online coaches make up many different forms, and you don’t necessarily have to be certified in anything. All you need is experience! What unique thing do you have a ton of experience in? What do people come to you for advice on? Most people have some type of expertise that others could benefit from. One-on-one coaching through Zoom is something you can set up on your own. The possibilities are endless, and even though coaching may not be for you long term, it’s a great way to get started making money right away simply using the knowledge you have.
These next three are my *personal favorites* (hint: they are a bit more passive!)
Create a Membership Site
Take what you were just thinking about for one-on-one coaching and add in a community aspect with ongoing updates and information. If you have a passion for something and you’re good at helping foster a community for those with a shared interest, this could be a great option for you! The recurring membership can help bring you consistent and stable income that builds over time as you gain more subscribers. Direct Sales/MLM Companies
Along the lines of affiliate marketing, if there’s a product you love, why not directly sell it to others? There are many different kinds of legit companies that offer this -- I got started with Beautycounter because I fell in love with their better-for-you line of skincare and makeup. With many of these companies you can make money not only selling products, but through growing your team as well. Online Courses
I absolutely LOVE these, and they’ve helped me grow Rebelle Nutrition from 0 to a six figure business in just 9 months. Online courses are essentially a way to work smarter, not harder.
